Adity L1 mission the longest mission led by ISRO over 1.5 million km to the earth. Introduction :  Aditya L1 shall be the first space based Indian mission to study the Sun. The spacecraft shall be placed in a halo orbit around the Lagrange point 1 (L1) of the Sun-Earth system, which is about 1.5 million km from the Earth. A satellite placed in the halo orbit around the L1 point has the major advantage of continuously viewing the Sun without any occultation/eclipses. This will provide a greater advantage of observing the solar activities and its effect on space weather in real time. Science Objectives: The major science objectives of Aditya-L1 mission are: Study of Solar upper atmospheric (chromosphere and corona) dynamics. Study of chromospheric and coronal heating, physics of the partially ionized plasma, initiation of the coronal mass ejections, and flares Observe the in-situ particle and plasma environment providing data for the study of particle dynamics from the Sun. Ph...

Aditya L1 mission India's first -ever solar mission, will be launched by the ISRO on Friday from Andhra Pradesh's Sriharikota. what is Aditya L1 mission ? Aditrya L1, the Indian Space Reasearch Organisation  (ISRO),s first ever mission to the sun is set to be launched from Andhra Pradesh's Sriharikota on Friday. ISRO will launch the spacecraft at 11:50: am, after the succesfull mission Chandryaan-3 on the Moon's south pole last Wednesday. Through Adity L1, ISRO aims to place the craft in a "halo orbit around the Lagrang point 1 (L1)  of the Sun-Earth system, which is about 1.5 million km from the Earth."Through this mission ISRO will study the impact of solar activity on space weather in real-time. The other key objectives of the unmanned mission also include understanding " Coronal heating, coronal mass ejection, pre-flare and flare activites and there charecteristics, dynamics of the space weather ,propogation of particlesand fields, etc., Adity L1's...

Chandryaan-3 succesfully landed on the south pole.

Image
Chandryaan-3 succesfully landed on the south pole region of the moon and also become the first country who succesfully landed on the south pole region of the moon India has created history with the successful soft landing of ISRO's third Moon mission Chandryaan-3's Lander Module (LM),making it only the fourth country to do so, and first to reach the uncharted south pole of Earth's only natural satellite. Message send by Chandryaan-3 after landing:" I reached my destination and you too!:chandryaan-3 has successfully soft-landed on the moon. Congratulations,India! " About chandryaan-3 mission important detail: chandryaan-3 is the third India lunar exploration mission under the Indian Research Organisation's (ISRO) It consists of a lander named Vikram and a rover  named  Pragyan, similer to those of the chandryaan 2 mission. The propulsion module carried the lander and rover configuration to9 lunar orbit in preparation for a powered descent by the lander. summa...

Russia's Lunar-25 Launched on 11 August May Reach The Moon's Surface Sooner Then Chandryan-3

Russian lunar-5 mission can reach Moon's surface sooner then Chandryaan-3   Research Organisation's (ISRO's) heaviest rocket, Launch  Vehicle Mark-3, lifted off form Sriharikota with its two solid strap-on boosters breathing out orange plume, guiding it through its brief but majestic vertical ascent. Over 28 days after the launch and several orbital manoeuvres later, the propulsion module has been placed in an orbit around the moon. For the first time in nearly half a century, a Russian spacecraft is headed to the moon. On Friday (11 August) morning , at a spaceort located in the remote eastern part of the Russia, a Soyuz rocket carried Luna-25, a moderately sized robotic lander, into Earth's orbit. Approximately 80 minutes after liftoff, Luna-25's course was adjusted to set it on a trajectory towards the moon. The plan is for it to reach the moon, establish orbit by 16 August, and then make an attempt to land on the lunar surface, possibly as early as 21 August, t...

Isro releases first images of the Moon as viewed by Chandrayaan-3

Isro releases first images of the Moon as viewed by Chandrayaan-3 The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) on Sunday released the first images of the Moon as viewed by Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft. "The Moon, as viewed by Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft during Lunar Orbit Insertion (LOI) on August 5, 2023," Isro said on Twitter. The space agency will carry out Chandrayaan-3 first lunar-bound manoeuvre post LOI between 10.30pm and 11.30pm tonight (Sunday). This comes a day after Isro successfully guided Chandrayaan-3 into a lunar orbit without a glitch, marking a major milestone for India’s third lunar mission. I am feeling lunar gravity," was the first message that India’s third lunarcraft sent to the Isro after entering the Moon’s orbit that the space agency tweeted on Saturday. The spacecraft made the lunar orbit entry after escaping Earth’s gravity and covering a long distance of 384,400 km. Saturday completed 22 days in Chandrayaan-3’s 40-day lunar journey since its launch...
